Monday evening this past week was Joe & Janette's engagement shoot with Kristen. And let me just tell you, these two deserve the cutesy couple of the year award, seriously. Being around them simply gave me the butterflies, like I was watching The Notebook or something. Imagine: The summer Noah & Allie first fell in love, but in real life. Yup that was them.
The way they look at each other is so endearing. Like everything in the world is perfect, like everything in the world is just right. There was nothing but big smiles and laughter all day long with these two.
Just when we though they were the cutest things ever, they got even sillier and Joe even showed us his cartwheel skills.
Their cutesy point shot through the roof by then!!!

For the last location Joe & Janet decided to take pictures on the swings.
It was a perfect way to end one of the most amazing shoots.

To Kristen, thank you for letting us join you on this shoot, allowing us to watch you work.
I will never forget this session, it was one of those "AHA!" moments in my career that I will cherish forever.

ReplyDeleteI shoot either in manual or aperture priority. depending on how lazy I am at the moment. I love the shallow depth of field also, but I started trying a higher f-stop to get everything in focus.
ReplyDeleteRight now, tripods is are favorite tool.
I'm still figuring out how to choose the correct white balance settings, so for now, I leave it in WB-Auto.
Thanks for the info.
